Lisbon

Ola

Well, let's talk a little bit about Lisbon now... I just have to say that it is a very busy city with something going on all the time, the streets are crowded and 90% of these people are actually tourists. In every corner you can buy drugs (what ever kind you like) and in every street you also can find many homeless people, which is sad. The main street is full of cafes, restaurants and clothing shops side by side to compete with each other and all the side streets are covered with a thick cloud of urine. :D
On Friday we took a train from Covilha to Lisbon and by the time we arrived we didn't have a particular plan how to manage our time or what to do. We just came off the train, took the subway, found the hostel, check in and started our dinner hunt. That evening we had dinner in a restaurant called Himalaia, which was a mix of indian and italian food, which is actually very strange combination, because they have nothing in common. But we stayed there cause the buffet cost only 9 euros and we got to eat as much as we could. The rest of the evening we were just wandering around the city and tried to discover the beauty, charm, and the pain of it.
On Saturday we tried to get up early to go and buy everything necessary and unnecessary from Primark. We spent about 5 hours in the huge shopping center and after we arrived back to the hostel I began to feel how my health was fading away from me again. In the evening, when everybody started to get their party mood on, I started coughing and felt so bad and sad. However, we did go for a little walk in the city that night, found the corner of Erasmus, drank an erasmus shot and got a free phone cards. Later others stayed in our hostel lobby which was awesome by the way, but I had to get rest and had to fight my battle with the Sandman.
On sunday morning I didn't feel any better...luckily the weather was incredibly beautiful and warm, the thermometer showed 26 degrees even and that was f-ing awesome! We went to fashion museum and after that ate lunch at a sushi buffet which was definitely something new for me cause I ate a lot of fishy thing there :D The rest of the day we just travelled around the city, the idea was to get lost and wander until we find the way back home. It was fun!
In conclusion, I can say that I like Porto more at the moment cause Lisbon is very busy and chaotic city for me, but who are interested, it is still worth to go and have a look for sure.
